My name is Gary Paul. I spent the last 25 plus years in a "blue-collar" industry working in and around the automotive parts department. All of that changed on January 2nd. 2025 when at the age of 57, and like millions of other Americans, I found myself unemployed. I had been raised to believe things happen for a reason and as hard as it was to learn that I had been terminated and the pressure that comes from the feeling I had that I wouldn't be able to provide for my family by putting food on the table, was extremely difficult. It wasn't until I was unemployed and consuming many more hours of corporate media than I normally would which led me to finally realize just how feed up I had become with the so-called "mainstream" media. Which seems to be full of misinformation by lying while playing their favorite game of the "both sides" game. I can not make this next statement clear enough and that is, mainstream media has been selling us out for years!

So I'm attempting to do something unexpected and completely out of my comfort zone:

And it was then in which Common Ground Media came to be.

Why You Might Ask?

Because the truth matters.

Because facts matter.

Because democracy — actual, functioning, informed democracy — only survives when ordinary people get sick and tired of being lied to and decide to say no and to do something about it.

Common Ground Media might start out as a simple podcast network with a YouTube channel, but that's not what I'm looking to build here. I'm looking to create a movement, one which is a community full of "truth seekers"
So my promise to you, my audience is to create truth-first, independent content for those who would rather be uncomfortable than uninformed.

I'm not here to do “both sides” fascism.

I'm not here to play nice with corporate interests or extremist nonsense.

I'm here to cut through the noise, expose the rot, and speak directly to people who still give a damn!
